Why is my essential oil diffuser not misting?

Will my diffuser turn off automatically?
All of the Diffusers have an auto shut off when it is out of water. There are lighting features like how fast it flickers and changes colors or you can stop it on any one setting you desire. Each of our diffusers has a sensor which automatically turns the diffuser off when the unit is out of water. See instructions below on how to clean the sensor area if the unit remains on even though it has no water. The water level indicator is dirty and the unit needs to be cleaned.
How many drops of essential oil do I need to put in my diffuser?
Between 3 to 5 drops of an essential oil are recommended to use in a diffuser, if the diffuser’s size is 100 ml. So 3 drops is a standard amount that can be used as a trial, if you are using an aroma diffuser for the first time. On average, based on my testing with different orifice reducers, pipettes, droppers and oils of varying thicknesses, 600 drops of essential oil equals 30ml or 1 fl.Add between 4-6 drops of your chosen essential oil or aromatherapy blend to the water into the essential oil diffuser (or follow the manufacturers’ instructions).
