What is a primavera?
Primavera means springtime in Italian. Our recipe for Pasta Primavera brings together Bucatini with a handful of spring vegetables and a soupçon of cream, butter and parmesan. It is a humble dish, simple to prepare but devilishly difficult to do well. It is unctuous without being overly rich. The name Primavera is derived from the Spanish language and its literal translation is Springtime.
