Apart from water, only a hydrosol (or floral water) can be considered to be poured into the tank of an ultrasonic diffuser. On the other hand, there is no question of adding vegetable oil, alcohol, perfume , or even pure essential oils ! An ultrasonic diffuser is a newer version with more modern diffuser technology. Instead of using heat to evaporate the oil like a typical diffuser, they use vibrations to create ultrasonic waves which disperse microscopic oil particles into the air.

If there is still no diffusion or it is weak, remove the oil bottle. Fill the empty bottle that came with diffuser with rubbing alcohol and run it through the diffuser for 30 minutes.Check the power between the socket and the device as well as the cable. To ensure there aren’t any problems, remove the DC plug from the diffuser and then insert again to ensure connectivity. The power will automatically turn off if there is no/not enough water in the tank.
