Can I use a diffuser without water?
Waterless essential oil diffusers, like the Aero Mini Pro, use advanced atomization technology to disperse pure essential oil without water or heat. This allows the oil to remain undiluted, delivering a richer, more authentic aromatherapy experience. Atomizing diffusers are the safest type of diffuser. They don’t utilize water to diffuse essential oils, but unlike nebulizing diffusers, they meter the amount of oil diffused into the air to prevent strong concentrations of oil that can irritate the throat or lungs. For all of our Ultrasonic Diffusers, we recommend using tap or bottled water because the natural minerals in the water allow the oil to cling to the particles and disperse further into the air.
Is it better to put warm or cold water in a diffuser?
Warmer water tends to create a fuller mist while cold water can inhibit ultrasonic vibrations, therefore producing less mist. To extend the life of your diffuser, please be certain to use only 100% Pure Essential Oils. Always use your fragrance oil diffuser in a well-ventilated space. Diffusing without proper airflow can create a highly concentrated aroma that causes irritation and is unpleasant to the senses. However, you also don’t want to place your diffuser in direct airflow, such as right next to an air vent or window. You should not use too much of an essential oil in a diffuser as it will make the diffused scent overwhelming. And if you use less than the recommended amount of the essential oil, it may not be enough to scent the entire space of yours.
Do I need to put water in an aroma diffuser?
Add water to your diffuser Fill your diffuser reservoir to the fill-line (or use the measuring cup) with clean tap water or distilled water. Make sure that there is always sufficient water in your diffuser as it relies on water to generate the fragrant mist. In larger rooms with poor air circulation, the fragrance may disperse more slowly, making it seem like the diffuser has lost its potency. Try placing your diffuser in a smaller or more central area to enhance the scent distribution.Too little water level is one of the most frequent causes of a non-functioning air fragrance diffuser. Essential oils are released into the air via diffusers using water as a medium. The machine won’t have sufficient liquid to produce mist if the water level is too low in it.
Why is my aroma diffuser not misting?
If your diffuser does not work, the first step is to make sure it is properly plugged in. If it’s plugged in, and the lights nor mist will turn on, make sure there is power coming from your source. A possible cause may be mineral or oil buildup, causing the unit to have difficulty misting. Check the power between the socket and the device as well as the cable. To ensure there aren’t any problems, remove the DC plug from the diffuser and then insert again to ensure connectivity. The power will automatically turn off if there is no/not enough water in the tank.
