What would cause a diffuser to stop working?
People often get water inside the diffuser through overfilling, bumping or moving the diffuser around while full. If water or essential oil enters the diffuser it will quit working. If this happens, your should unplug and clean the unit and remove any water and let it sit for a day or two to dry out. Generally, a standard 100ml reed diffuser will last 4 to 6 weeks, depending on several factors like: Room Temperature: Warm rooms make the fragrance oil evaporate faster, shortening its lifespan. Air Flow: Drafts or frequent open windows can cause the oil to disperse more quickly. After several uses, your essential oil diffuser may become clogged or even stop working properly. To make the most of the benefits of your diffuser and avoid any breakdowns, it is important to follow the maintenance instructions in the leaflet supplied with your appliance carefully.Keep in mind that actual longevity depends on variables like the amount of oil, the number of reeds, room temperature, humidity, and air circulation. If your diffuser seems to fade early, it may be due to environmental factors or using up the oil too quickly.
