What are the benefits of chewing Sida acuta roots?
Studies reveal that roots of Sida acuta can be chewed to relieve toothache and leaves are soaked in water to make hair conditioner or shampoo to treat scaly skin. Context: Sida (Malvaceae) has been used as a traditional remedy for the treatment of diarrhoea, malarial, gastrointestinal dysentery, fevers, asthma and inflammation. Objectives: This study evaluates the anti-inflammatory, cytotoxic and anti-cholinergic activities of Sida rhombifolia Linn.
