Can you mix too many essential oils together?
While it may seem counterintuitive, combining too many essential oils can take away from a blend’s effectiveness. This may seem to go against previous comments from eg experts about the beneficial synergistic effects that are created when essential oils are blended together. Don’t overdo it. More of a good thing is not always good. Even when diluted, an essential oil can cause a bad reaction if you use too much or use it too often. That’s true even if you’re not allergic or unusually sensitive to them.
