How does SafeCare work?
SafeCare facilitates real-time staff deployment, offering live visibility of staffing levels. By aligning staffing with patient demand, it identifies areas with shortages in workload-based care hours. SafeCare standards cover a full range of clinical services and management functions, as well as infrastructural aspects and ancillary services–for example, kitchen, cleaning and laundry services.
What is SafeCare Level 4?
The SafeCare Level 4 interprets as “the healthcare facility is accustomed to operating according to standardized procedures and is monitoring the implementation of procedures and guidelines. In particular, the SafeCare standards survey ten specific areas. These are Accident & Emergency Care, HIV, TB & Malaria, Infection Prevention, Life & Fire Safety, Mother & Child, Customer Care, Business Performance, Staff & Training, Stock Management, and Clinical Management.
