They showed that a water extract of Rehmannia Glutinosa pharmacopuncture was effective in lowering both blood pressure and serum rennin activity. Lee et al [30] and Kwon and Song [31] intended to evaluate the effects of Rehmanniae Radix on the immune response. Rehmanniae Radix is effective in treating various types of dermatitis, such as allergic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, and atopic dermatitis, and has antioxidative effects. However, a high dose can induce an inflammation reaction and decrease cellular immunity.
