Do crystal diffusers work?
Many crystals used in diffusers possess porous structures at microscopic scales, allowing them to absorb fragrance liquid into their lattice structure. As absorbed liquid encounters air, it evaporates and releases fragrance molecules. The crystals naturally absorb the oil, releasing the fragrance into the air as a cold scent throw, creating a continuous, subtle aroma without the need for heat or electricity.
Is a diffuser good for your house?
Pros of diffusing essential oils: It helps freshen the air in your home without adding toxic chemicals to the air. TIP: Put a few drops of your favorite essential oil on your air filters before you install them and you’ll have the benefits of the essential oils wafting throughout your home. Oil diffusers emit dangerous VOCs created by essential oils, but an air purifier with activated carbon filters can reduce VOCs from the air. But many smells are VOCs, so the purifier will also be reducing the smells from the essential oil.
