Why is my Scentsy diffuser not misting?
Too little water level is one of the most frequent causes of a non-functioning air fragrance diffuser. Essential oils are released into the air via diffusers using water as a medium. The machine won’t have sufficient liquid to produce mist if the water level is too low in it. If your diffuser does not work, the first step is to make sure it is properly plugged in. If it’s plugged in, and the lights nor mist will turn on, make sure there is power coming from your source. A possible cause may be mineral or oil buildup, causing the unit to have difficulty misting.Check that the air intake is not clogged by dust, hair or restricted or obstructed in anyway. Check that the diffuser is on a level, hard surface. Do not run your diffuser on a towel or any soft surface that will restrict the air flow and cause the unit to overheat. Clean your unit.
Why can’t I smell my essential oils in the diffuser?
Here’s what to do: Flip the reeds—often it’s as simple as turning them over to refresh the scent. If it’s still weak, replace with fresh reeds. Old reeds can clog over time and stop diffusing. Clean the neck of the bottle—dust or dried oil can block airflow. To maintain a consistent aroma, we recommend flipping your reeds every few days. Do bear in mind that the more frequently you flip them, the faster the oil will evaporate.Understanding Reed Room Diffusers A 30ml bottle with 2–3 reeds typically lasts 2–3 weeks. A 50ml bottle using 3–4 reeds can fragrance a space for 1–2 months. Larger 100ml bottles, like those from Hotel Collection, usually employ 4–6 reeds and provide scent for 3–4 months.
